This place is great. From what I could see it only serves 3 dishes - chicken noodle soup, beef noodle soup and vegetable noodle soup - but it's really tasty and for Iceland it's also really cheap. The basic price is just over 1,000 krona - £5.00/€6.25 - and you can 'go large', as it were, adding extra meat and extra noodles and not break the bank.
It's a small place, where you eat and go - not really a place to hang around in. However, you can get a takeaway if you prefer. It's situated in Reykjavik's main shopping district, near Hallgrimskirkja church, and is an ideal place to drop-in while sight-seeing or shopping.
In fact, if you look around this district there are other places also serving relatively cheap food - much, much cheaper than down in the main square near the big hotels. Definitely worth exploring.
