After a long day on a tour, noodles soup really hit the spot. I can't really could not identify the Asian ethnicity (Thai?) the broth flavouring but it was yummy none the less. I tried both the chicken and the beef broth and preferred the beef. Both broths were a little sweet for my taste but I enjoyed the kick from the extra chile flakes. I've had better noodles but they served their purpose since I had fairly low expectations of any type of Asian food in Iceland.
Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant was small but clean. Earlier in the day, I saw they had outdoor seating but it was too chilly in the evening to eat outside. The portions were decent but a few hours later we all headed down to the famous hot dog stand for dinner part deux.

Food here was phenomenal. Amazing soup. Chicken and beef are both great. Top notch! Bjork eats here too, we saw her there!

Based on the prior reviews for this place, all 3 of us were completely disappointed by our meals. We paid ISK350 each for extra vegetables, but there really weren't ANY vegetables, except for bean sprouts, some flat parsley and finely-chopped green onions. The broth just tasted of soy and too much chile. The service was pleasant. There wasn't really any atmosphere, but you wouldn't expect anything more from a noodle bar -- except much better noodles.

Having lived in Bangkok and Singapore, it was a real surprise to find a genuine taste of Asia in Reykjavik

if you want something on the run in Reykjavík, this is the place to go, excellent noodle soups (ask for extra spicy since normal Icelanders dont have taste buds).
