“American diner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2013

We went to the other Ruby Tuesday in Skipholti, not this one. We both ordered the turkey burger but they could only give us chicken as they had run out of turkey. The burger was fine but the chips were not great and were cold. Prices not too bad.

“The other Ruby Tuesday actually”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 29, 2013

We ate at the other Ruby Tuesday in Skipholti 19, but I presume the menu at least is the same.
The service at the restaurant was very good, although I found it hilarious that many of the weighters were wearing only black leggings, some slightly see-through even. (not skinny girls)
The food was nothing to write home about, and nothing tasted fresh. We had the ribs, prawns (which were definitely not fresh), pasta with lobster (also not fresh), some fish and the surf & turf (I think).
The coctails we had were also not tasty. On the menu it said 'with strawberry puree', but it could only be described as syrup. I don't think I would eat here again. The place was full of icelandic families, so I presume it's at least popular with the locals.

“Forget this place!”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2013

Went here with my wife for dinner. We sat at our table for 15 minutes. Five waiters were in a group eating and talking among themselves. No one came to take our order, so we left and ate somewhere else.

“Needs improving”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2013

The children's food was very spicy, the ribs with BBQ sauce was too spicy for my 4year old, service was slow and the cheese burger wrap was more like minced beef. We never once got asked how the food was and had to get up and ask for the bill. The place it self looks good but with the price you pay for the food compared with the quality of the service and food is appalling, our party of 7 agreed that we wouldn't be returning...what a shame.

“Good service”

If you like American food this is the place to go. The menu is not only food from America but also Icelandic. The food is pretty good and it is well placed on the plate so you are not hungry after eating
