In addition to the hostel, there is also an excellent campsite right behind the hostel. The campsite itself is amazingly affordable (10 American dollars per night) and allows for free charging, use of outdoor cooking stations, and free wi-fi. Unlike American campsites, there were just large open fields surrounded by trees. This was great, because you could set up your tent wherever you wanted. While most set their tents close to the bathrooms, I choose to set mine up a bit further away and it was relatively quiet all night.
The other plus is that the city is about a mile and a half away, which is a great morning walk. The area is also secure enough that you can leave your tent pitched for the day and it won't get stolen (note: I did not leave valuables inside the tent, just the tent itself and a sleeping bag).
If you are looking for a cheap and fun alternative to hostels or hotels, consider the campsite.More
