“The world´s best?”
Reviewed October 7, 2013

An enormous outdoor swimming pool, with lots of jacuzzis, the hottest with a boiling 44 degrees C, salt water spa and steam bath - this is a must for every Reykjavik travel.

“Great way to spend a couple of hours”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Spent a couple of hours here as we were staying very close by.

Only costs a couple of pounds / euros. THe place is a public swimming pool so is a little 'tired' in places, but is clean and a great experience. Especially liked the hot tubs of varying temperatures and swimming 50m outdoors in the dark in a hot steaming swimming pool!

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

A large outdoor heated pool, one for the kids with slides, various hot pools, a steam room and a geo thermal bath all for 550 Krona.

A bargain, wish we had these at home.

“as the locals do”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

This was suggested by the tourist office (in Laugavegur in front of Bonus Supermarket). Entrace fee was 550 ISK. We met some locals by the pool and explained to us that every pool had a different temperature and the end of the pools is a salt water pool that is supposed to be therapeutic. It was relaxing with the hot water whilst 5 degrees outside temperature and we stayed until closing time - 10 pm. They had a tall slide though we didn't try it.
