“Great pool!”
Reviewed February 6, 2013

We went in January and the main pool was a little cool, but it didn't stop my husband or toddler from going down the slides! Warming pools were wonderful. Very easy to get to, city busses drop/pick up just outside. (Busses and pool are free with city pass!)

“Worth a visit for a slice of Reykjavik life”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Great few hours at these thermal pools. There were mainly locals there and we felt like we were experiencing part of Reykjavik life, not just a tourist attraction. There are pools of different temperatures so if you can brave walking between them in the cold it's worth trying a few! The pools are open until 10pm so you can enjoy an evening of soaking in the hot pools.

“Cheap and very very cheerful”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

If you have time and want to go and relax in a thermal pool then add this to your list. It was soooooo much fun. there's an awesome slide, what looks like an Olympic sized swimming pool, heated pool, four hot pots with different temperatures including 44 degrees celcius. it was bliss! there's also a sauna and steam room and this place was literally a few pounds to get in! it was about a 25 minute walk from the city but well worth it, a little oasis! We went during the week and during the day so it wasn't busy or anything! Spent a good few hours here. It was so so cold outside, so moving pool to hotpots was COLD, but it was bliss as soon as you feel the hot water. Had a great afternoon here. Lockers are free too!

“A must do for all!”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

I can't remember how much I paid, but it was less than 3 Euros.
I am a massive swimmer, so I was happy to go - but when I got there was pleased to note there was so much to do other than swimming! There is a water slide (if you can dare get out of the water), as well as hot tubs with different temperatures and a aqua play area.

The pool is not as commercial, nor does it have the 'wow' factor like the Blue Lagoon, but it's definitely an Icelandic experience where you can do what the locals do.

“Fabulous place”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

You can enjoy sitting in 'hotpots' of 44 degrees C when it's minus two outside, chatting to the locals, two hours before dawn. Outdoor swimming too in an enormous pool. Very inexpensive - but remember to take a towel. Highlight of the holiday!
