I don’t leave many reviews, but when a guide goes above and beyond to make for an amazing experience, I feel the need to praise the activity and the guide. Mark was passionate about what he does and ensured that we all had a great experience. An hour into the hike he states “I’m fine to stay longer if you want to” to the group. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the glacier, took the time with each of us to get great photos, and was there to make sure we did everything safely. Great tour and an amazing guide!

This tour was fantastic in every way. 6 days to circumnavigate the entire country and get to see and experience so much of what Iceland has to offer. The itinerary proceeds at a comfortable pace, with a few longer stretches of driving punctuated by stops at points of interest. The accommodations were varied and very comfortable - from Arctic Adventure hotels, to B&B style, to full-on commercial hotel accommodations, with reliable wifi in all but one. Restaurant reservations were outstanding and convenient. The mini-bus was comfortable.
Our guide, Diddy (Sigurdur Magnusson) was amazing - he was knowledgeable, personable, and (most importantly), flexible. He recognized the needs of our group and made adjustments as needed. He clearly knows and loves his country, and I was very, very impressed with his vast knowledge of history, culture, geology, geography, botany, and ecology. It is tough to find that all in one person, and his experience was prominently on display every day.
Overall, however, this was just the kind of tour needed to experience an overview of Iceland and leave me wanting to come back to experience it more in-depth.
We went on the 3-hour Silfra Snorkelling tour with Arctic Adventures and had an absolutely great time. Two of us went on this trip and this was our favourite Icelandic tour by far!
Our guide, Halli, was informative and made sure we were enjoying our snorkelling experience while ensuring that we were safe the entire time. Both my friend and I were a bit scared to start off with because the snorkelling gear feels a bit tight, but with Halli's encouragement, we made the leap and ended up having a wonderful time exploring Silfra. We even had a hot chocolate to top off the adventure with, couldn't have asked for more!
I was also grateful for all the information provided prior to the trip regarding meeting, location, what to bring for the adventure, etc. It was very helpful in preparation for our trip.

We snorkeled with Halli as our guide. This was the best thing we did in Iceland. He did an absolutely fantastic job taking photos!!!!! And of course making sure everyone was safe. We had no dry suit experience but Halli made it simple for us. The water is the clearest I’ve ever seen and it was like being on a new planet! It was a totally MAGICAL experience! And the hot chocolate and cookies at the end was a special touch. Excellent!

We did the 3. 5 hour glacier woanders tour and it was amazing!
Apart from the beautiful tour in the best weather the two guides Oli and Guiseppe were great. The two of them led us safely to the glacier with a lot of humour and knowledge. I would recommend it to everyone to do this tour.
What I liked best was that the guides talked a lot about the environmental aspect and that got stuck in the mind again.
