Huge thanks to George, our guide for this fabulous 10 hour trip taking in two amazing waterfalls, one you can walk behind, close enough to touch a glacier, black sand beach and basalt columns and caves. Thoroughly recommend the small group trip, much more sociable and George couldn't have been better - offering to stop for photos etc, plenty of time at scheduled stops too. Thanks!

Did the Glacier and Waterfalls tour and definitely got our money's worth. The tour guide George was super-friendly and more than willing to pull over whenever we wanted to take photos. (There were only six people on our tour, which was really cool too, and a nice break from the giant bus full of tourists.)

George was also nice enough to take us on a couple detours.

Had a great time and would recommend this tour and tour company to everyone.

I've booked a 5 days tour which was a combination of a 3 days tour in the south and 2 days in the peninsula. I had two guide that were fantastic (Frìmann and Olivier). They were able to answer all our questions, give interesting information and make the tour more personal. Also they were able to change the itinerary according to the weather to make the best out of it. We visited a lot of Island highlight and even more. We had enough time at each stop. They also took pictures of us when we asked which was super nice ( Thanks to Olivier for the great picture of us in front of the northern light)! I had a great time in Island.

My friend and I did this tour in January as we wanted to see the Black sand beach, Vatnajökull and Jökulsárlón but didn't have a car. The tour was amazing, our guide Jonas was really experimented and funny and knew lots of stories. Probably the coolest guide I've ever had. The hotel was really clean. Jonas was not afraid of going the extra mile to show us as many things as possible. Very well organised. Bring warm clothes, a good camera and tripod if you can for northern lights. My highlight was probably the Diamond Beach next to Jökulsárlón.

We originally booked the Blue Ice tour with Arctic Advenures, but due to bad weather in the area they cancelled. They let us know the day before via email and offered to either give us a full refund or rebook to another tour/day. We rebooked to the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon tour for the following day (as our Golden Circle tour with another company had also been cancelled - we picked a bad, rainy week!) This tour was already delayed to a noon pickup because of the storm, and then they notified us the morning of that the tour needed to be cancelled because of the weather. We were again disappointed but understand the safety concerns! They were extremely helpful with the rebooking process and replied to emails promptly. They offered a special lava caving tour (Underworld) in the afternoon so we rebooked to that so a whole day wouldn't be wasted.
They picked us up around 3pm and it was a short drive to the cave. Since this wasn't our originally booked tour, we had no idea what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised! The guides were great and explained how the lava tubes were formed. We spent about 1 1/2 - 2 hours walking through the cave. Be prepared with waterproof clothes and gloves as it was very wet. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a short tour, but be warned it was very physical! A good amount of crawling/ducking/squating to get through the narrow sections.
