“Show in English, how to be an Icelandic in 60 minutes”

In Iceland, almost everyone can speak English very well and they even make a stand up show in English. It was based on stereotypes, except jokes about Icelandic people , the guy mostly talked about Northern European people since there are many among audiences. Harpa gives you a great chance to make pictures by the way, its architecture is better than it seems!

“Worth visiting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 20, 2014

If you are in Reykjavik, I recommend to visit here. Harpa building represents new Reykjavik. It doesn't take long to visit here. You can enter the building (no entrance fee) and go all the way up to 5th floor. Cafeteria available in downstairs.

“Wow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 19, 2014

Love everything about this building yet find it difficult to describe. The outside and the inside are so different, one from another. The light plays tricks in the huge interior spaces, yet the structure is in no way intimidating. It appears to float in the harbour and the inside is full of light, space and quirky angles, incorporating conversational seating places cafés and shops. Unfortunately I was unable to attend a performance so did not see the concert hall.

“Modern and classy”

Modern, lots of light, a beautiful building. You can go inside and just walk around, sit down and just be there. There are also shops for tourists.
