Hotel Borg is centrally located, and is a very historic hotel. All of the staff at the hotel but particularly the people at the front desk were extremely professional and accommodating. We had an excellent visit that included an excellent tour of the Golden Circle.

It was a very busy evening at the Hotel when we checked in. The front desk staff was efficient, accommodating and very helpful. I watched them navigate some high maintenance guests with patience and a smile and were quick to find solutions to the issues. I did not get the name of the two gentlemen that were changing shifts when I arrived - but they were great. Maria joined and was amazing in helping me sort out accommodations for my daughter. We had dinner at Jamie Oliver’s restaurant and the food was delicious. Our server was Ingvar and he gave us A+ service. He had great recommendations for both food and wine. I wish we had been able to stay longer than one night. We will definitely book the Hotel Borg when we are back in Iceland.

You could not pick a more perfectly situated hotel to the street where all the restaurants and shops are and to the old harbor. Room was very nice..well equipped and classy interior. Nespresso in lobby was a big hit with us. Hotel staff was friendly and extremely helpful.
