We visited this hotel on a family trip. The hotel is well located within walking distance of the main sites in Reykjavik. It is fairly easy to park nearby. The staff were very helpful, both pre arrival, in organising things like extra beds for children, and while we were staying there, for example, responding very promptly to requests for extra towels, drinks, etc, and helping the children to cook waffles at breakfast! The rooms are of a decent size and a good standard. The bathrooms are well equipped with lovely toiletries. I would raise only two negatives. Firstly, a lot of the food at breakfast (porridge, potatoes, etc) was fairly cold, as if it had been sitting around for a while. Secondly, the rooms were very warm and stuffy without air con (although we were given a small fan). We were able to open one of the windows but we didn’t want to sleep with the window open as there was a lot of noise from the square below- fine when the window was closed but not when it was open. My advice would be to try to get a room at the back of the hotel where I would expect it to be quieter.

I was very satisfied with the accommodation, very good quality of the service and best location. The breakfast was also good and everything was very clean. I will stay for sure at your hotel next time when coming to Iceland.
