Begga and her husband are very knowledgeable about the horses. Begga clearly loves horses and loves sharing that passion with others. The lava fields were stunning to explore and the ride was very smooth. A great buy. Definitely recommend taking advantage of the warm gear and boots!

Really enjoyed our time there. Our guides were really friendly and humorous, and they took pictures for us all the way. Learned a lot about Icelandic horses, tölt!

This is such fun, and we would recommend this to everyone whether you have riding experience or not. We were collected at our hotel and driven out to the stables where we learned about the horses we would be riding. Being 1.82 metres tall I was a bit worried for the horse, but mine was more than up to the task; we set off in a small group out to a lava field, and had a wonderful time. Having ridden in may different countries, we were keen to try the "tolt"; this was fascinating, the horse setting off on a fast run, whilst the rider sits very comfortably with very limited up and down movement., and you can't help but smile. The scenery was lovely, as was the sunny weather. Back at the stables the horses treated us to a comedy ten minutes, rolling around in the yard on their backs with legs in the air, all with apparent huge smiles on their faces. An unforgettable morning.
