“Great little spot!”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

Great coffee, dessert and beer. The ambiance was nice and even though they technically closed at 11:00 p.m., people were still there at midnight as we were not rushed out the door.

“Very chilled, retro bar for Bjork-a-likes”
Reviewed March 7, 2014

Wonderful bar decked out like a charity shop with your Granny's old lampshades and sofas. Great selection of local beers and a nice laid back atmosphere. Well located off the main square too.

“Just the place for a hot drink”
Reviewed March 2, 2014 via mobile

This is just the place to stop off for a hot drink on a cold day. Extremely cosy and welcoming with an eclectic mix of old comfy sofas, tables and chairs. Freebie top-ups of coffee, as is the Icelandic habit. Please note, you big chain coffee outlets.

“3 visits in 3 days, Nuff said!”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

We travel a fair bit, weekend breaks mainly with a rule of don't go to the same place twice, there's so many other places to go. We went here 3 times!! It's a great homely feel coffee house with no frills, just comfy sofas and great coffee, cake's pretty good too! Perfect after a long day on the tourist trail. Can't even put a finger on why this place warranted a return visit, it's not decorated too well, the furniture is mix and match and it's looks like it should have a layer of cigarette smoke on the ceiling! But it's clearly a favourite with the locals, we got a sofa each time and felt like we weren't intruding. The staff were friendly as were the locals, one lady even handed my fiancé her baby to hold so she could get ready to leave, proper cute baby and iv a sneaky suspicion my fiancé was reluctant to give it back!!! So we returned, twice more, and broke our golden rule! Don't walk past it, its at the top of the central plaza, chillax.
