“Nice coffee. Shame about the staff”
Reviewed March 6, 2013 via mobile

Agree with the other reviews that this is a nice place for a coffee and to relax. However we were surprised when two of the staff were sitting down at one of the tables where customers would sit, looking at a laptop instead of being behind the counter. One of the girls even looked put out when we sat down at the other side of this table just mentioned. A pity really, because its a pleasant place and the coffee was great

Hi mcmikeec!

I would like to thank you for stopping by our café in the first place, and secondly thank you for posting this review. We really value feedback and are very sorry that a customer had such an experience in our café. Your review was read at a recent staff meeting to ensure it never happens again. We'll strive to make this a nicer place for the future, so please stop by again any time!

Best regards,
Anna (Mr. Manager)

“Cutest place in town, not to be missed”
Reviewed March 5, 2013

We found this wonderful place on day 1 of our trip when I popped in for a take away hot drink, after that you couldn't keep us away. Every night went into Stofan for a drink before dinner and sometimes on the way home too! Stofan has a really relaxed feel to it, with a mix of locals and tourists, happy hour between 1700 and 2100. The decor is quirky and cosy, and you will feel right at home.

“"Granny's parlour!"”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

Found this cafe on our last morning and when we walked in it reminded me of Granny's parlour. Furnishings of all styles shapes and sizes but clean and comfortable and for those of you who can't live without wi-fi - yes it has it and it is free. For Rejkjavic this is quite inexpensive. Coffee and a slice of pecan pie for less that 1000 is kr and refill of coffee included. Shame we didn't find it earlier in our stay.
