Stayed in a one bedroom unit; we were very happy with the size of the unit and the kitchen was a big plus. Great location, clean room, and staff was very helpful. In addition, we booked a car pick up through the hotel. The driver meet us outside baggage claim, the car was parked a short walk from the airport, and the driver was very professional/courteous.

Strongly recommend staying at the Reykjavík Residence Hotel.

This is a very good place to stay with a group or family! We absolutely loved the fresh bread delivered in the morning! The flavor of the bread was uncommonly good.
I highly recommend the restaurant next door as well. It’s called “early in the morning “ and is very popular. Add breakfast to your room reservation in advance and you will have priority to breakfast seating. The front desk people we’re always friendly and attentive. 5 stars!

I stayed at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel From May 1st to May 8th. And really
enjoyed my apartment, it was so clean and modern and the location is perfect
for walking around the city and catching the Bus Tours at stop 7. The front office
crew is so friendly and eager to help with any questions and sightseeing tips. And
Aleksandra was so helpful taking my reservation and finding the perfect apartment
with lots of windows and open views, which was very helpful for my Clustraphobic condition. She was also very helpful during my stay with great tips on tours, restaurants and shops. And I really enjoyed my breakfasts there, the restaurant is very cozy and the food was so delicious and the coffee is the best. And a Special Thank You to all the wait staff and cooks for their great smiles, service and nice conversations.

I’m an old Hotel Man and have work in the Hospitality Business all my life and own a
Motel on the coast of Maine. So I give this wonderful Hotel “A Perfect 10” and My compliments to the Manager, Front Office Staff and Housekeeping for making my stay so enjoyable. And I’m looking forward to a return visit in 2020.

This was a fantastic choice for our week long visit. We had the two bedroom apartment and it was perfect with easy access to bus stop 7(the pick up/ drop off point for everything we wanted to do) and an easy walk to dining and shopping.

The apartments are located in a very good location. Just a block down from the busy street with bars and restaurants, a 2-minute walk from the waterfront and a 5- minute walk from the Hapar convention centre. The property had emailed us informing us about the apartments being in different locations and had asked us for our preference about the bed. Our room was in the main building in the basement and didn’t have the heat radiator. Also felt a bit stuffy. When we pointed that out, the friendly lady at the reception showed us a couple of other rooms and we picked the one we liked. Overall, the stay was comfortable. The room was adequately equipped with good quality toiletries, a coffee machine, milk, cereal and juice. The room was cleaned Everyday. The reception staff were very helpful with their insights and recommendations. We didn’t have high expectations about people helping us with luggage and parking, which some reviewers had complained about, so we were reasonably happy about our stay and looked forward to coming back to the room after driving around all day.
