I have so many positive things to say about this property. These are apartments with a small dining area and a kitchen. Bedrooms were beautifully designed and the bathrooms are very spacious. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Staff was extremely pleasant. Very close to the all the bars and restaurants in the area. There is limited parking behind the property marked Reykjavik Residence Hotel. With an extra charge per person, a hearty and beautifully arranged breakfast is delivered at 8:00am. A basket full of fresh baked local bread and cheeses along with a big spread of meats were enough for the both of us. I would definitely stay in this property again.

Stayed here for 5 nights as a family of 5. Had a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy and had all the amenities that we required. The kitchen was well furnished with a nice coffee machine. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. The lounge was large enough for 5 to sit comfortably. The location is 1 block from the Main Street and we found that we could easily walk around the centre of town even with a 5 year old in tow. The staff were really friendly and were able to get us into our room before the official time. We organised all our tours via them and they gave us great recommendations. The hotel cannot be faulted for location, staff or rooms. A great place to stay to explore a truly remarkable country.

We spent five nights at this great hotel, two nights at the beginning and three nights at the end of our eleven day trip to Iceland in June 2016. The location is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Reykjavik. We were upgraded to a suite which was in reality an apartment. We stayed both times in the Christian X..
The front desk was available for suggestions on things to do, information on how to get to places, and suggestions on where to eat. A special thanks to Osp, Carlo, and Gudbjorg. We highly recommend the Reykjavik Residence Suites.

Clean modern apartment in a great location. About a block from the active tourist street. We arrived around noon after a red-eye flight, hoping to check in early, but no luck, our room wasn't available until 2pm. Regardless, the front desk staff are very sweet and friendly and offer great advice on a self walking tour of Reykjavik and restaurant recs. The little plate of chocolates at the desk doesn't hurt either. As others have noted, they have about 3 parking spots available at the back of the building, and it's first come first serve. We stayed in a studio on the same floor. Just like in the rest of Iceland, the "double" bed is just two twins pushed together. The room was overall clean and comfortable. They supply coffee, tea, milk, apple juice and cornflakes. My only complaint was that the shower drain wasn't draining well and as there isn't much to separation between the shower area and the rest of the bathroom (the shower is just a depressed area in the bathroom floor), it flooded the entire bathroom.

Upon arrival at this quaint, relaxing with an excellent location hotel, we couldn't be anymore happier of the greeting and the utmost respectful courtesy and friendliness of the staff especially the concierge (the gentleman with blonde hair). He was extremely helpful with every single requests and made great suggestions during our trip. He was quite attentive and cordial. The hotel is located within walking distance from the main shopping street and minutes from the town center!! Could not have picked a better hotel to greet us on our first stay in Rejkjavik.
