This was a highlight for my teenagers. The guide was amazing. He was knowledgeable and made the trip fun. Not only did we have some stops to learn about Iceland, but also had fun on the ATVs. I was nervous the ride would be very slow, but he allowed us to open them up some and curb in and out of the black sand hills. We then took a fast ride through the fields of flowers and back through streams into a deep canyon. I have a 15 & 17 who had so much fun. I did let my 17 have her own ATV.

I wish I could remember our guides name, but I know he was from Hungry and he did such a great job. He was engaged and friendly.

If you want to go faster, you want to be in the front right behind the guide. You can only go as fast as the person in front of you so the people at the end tend to go slower.

The glacier walk was amazing in every way. Beautiful scenery, perfect length, and most importantly, we had the most amazing guide! Jokull was knowledgeable, helpful, energetic, funny, and kind. Our group had several senior citizens and kids. Jokull carefully checked to ensure that everyone’s gear fitted perfectly before we started the hike. Once we are on the glacier, he made sure that the path was safe, and never rushed anyone. He was kind and gentle to the elderly, and indulgent to my 12 year old overly energetic son. The glacier walk was the highlight of our Iceland vacation, and we are very thankful that we had Jokull as our guide!

My boyfriend and I booked Glacier Adventure tour and it was absolutely amazing!! The hike was more than worth the money and left us with gorgeous memories and photos! Our guide, Michal was even kind enough to come pick us up from our close by camp site when our car broke down, and even helped us fix our car after the tour. He was a very energetic, kind, and safe guide- I felt comfortable the whole time, and we went high up the glacier to see small ice caves/ arches and drank from glacier water. 10/10 recommend!!

I did the "Ice Cave - Only the Brave" tour and it was really an amazing adventure.
The tour started with a short briefing at the base camp. Then we moved with a small van at the feet of the Falljokull glacier tongue where our wonderful guide Andrea showed us how to put the crampons and explained us the basic techniques just to start walking on the glacier.
After some minutes of practicing we "jumped" onto another glacier tongue where we practiced a bit with more advanced techniques (how to move downhill, uphill, and sideway) and we started our ascent.
We walked on the glacier for about 1-1.5 hours before reaching the ice cave where we stayed for about 1 hour; here we were free to admire the scenery while Andrea told us more about the glacier and the ice cave morphology. Finally, we walked back to the starting point descending the same glacier.
The tour is a bit physically demanding but doable also without any knowledge of glacier walking (this was the first time I put crampons and walked on ice).
Really highly recommended: the scenery is amazing, the guide was great and we were really the only people in the entire glacier tongue.
