“Oasis of Peace and Tranquility”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

We were on a mini-break to see the Nothern Lights so only had three nights to try the local restaurants. Went to Harry's on our second night, enjoyed it so much we went back again the following night. Loverly ambience, attentive service and wonderful food. I don't do 'flowers and roses', but even I thought it was a very pleasant, even romantic, evening. Highly recommended.

“Great food, service and prices”
Reviewed November 26, 2012

Read the reviews and came straight to Harry's on our first night (next to Best Western hotel). Managed to get a table as late November mid week, but advisable to book. Had the best fish and chips ever - melt in the mouth fish. Freshly cooked and hot. Chips are thin but with a great fresh mixed salad. Really good. Had a beer. We could not manage a dessert. Restaurant good value, nice intimate friendly ambience, spotless fresh toilets. Harry is the waiter and his wife is the chef I believe. Not a designer restaurant but a must visit!

“Best batter ever!”
Reviewed November 25, 2012 via mobile

We had a good meal, they don't have starters on the menu, but they made us up a platter of spring rolls with battered shrimp and pork which was superb. The mains were good I had the fish and chips (strange in an oriental restaurant) and again the batter was excellent, not oily at all and crisp. The beef in oyster sauce was also very tender. Good value for money.

“This was a most enjoyable restaurant”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

We spent four evenings in Harry's, what a superb restaurant. The toilets and restaurant were spotless and dust free. The hospitality and service that Harry gave us was very good even though he was very busy. His wife's culinary skills were excellent, portions more than adequate.
The Fried Haddock and chips beat any restaurant in England the fish was so fresh and tasty.
If we go back we will eat at Harry's again and would certainly recommend it to others.

“Great food great atmosphere !”
Reviewed November 18, 2012

We had two meals at Harry's - both lovely . Booked on line but during mid week was not full. There are about eight tables. Friendly and quick personable service . Meal averaged £20 each for a main, pudding/ liquor coffee and drink of beer or coca cola.

....The fish and chips is plentyful and as my 13 year old son said 'Delish!(delicious!) Enjoyed by all! A great choice of meals which cateered for all our parties varied tastes. We were especially thrilled when we came out of the restaurant and looked up to find the Aurora Borealis in the night sky .. bliss!
