Owner description: A close second is our passion for creating once in a lifetime experiences for our guests. Our ambition is always to maximize the enjoyment and experience of our divers and non-divers alike through close personal attention and professional guidance. In all honesty, we do get our kicks primarily from the smiles on the faces of our people at the end of an epic dive

We snorkelled the Silfra fissure on the last day of August so it wasnt midnight but around 7pm.
Between our thermals, under garment and dry suit we were kept very dry. The water clarity is everything they said it would be and the feeling that you were swimming between 2 tectonic plates was incredible. Our guides Pascale and Gui were great and helped and checked everyone get into their gear. It was a leisurely swim with the current and at the end we all got out and jumped off a big rock into that cold clear water. Highly recommended.

Did a 3 day dive tour (499 euro). Two dives at Gardur, which was kind of boring. The third dive was in Kleifavatn. I did see the craters with bubbles going up. The third day we did 2 dives in Silfra. That was worth the trip. The dives before I could have done without. Silfra was amazing, 2 degrees in the water and amazing viz. That day we had great weather. I would come back to dive Silfra with Dive.is

Our guide Alfie was excellent with a good sense of humor. The dive gear was in good working condition. The lunch was hot chocolate and biscuits. Thanks to Alfie I had a good divetrip even though the diving at Gardur and Kleifavatn was kind of boring.

Very well organised tour. The equipment was excellent. We did not feel the cold water at all. Overall a very good experience.

What a fantastic, unique experience, even for a newcomer to snorkelling. The beautiful underwater landscape with its vivid colours and crystal clear views of bottomless fissures soon takes your mind off the cold. The guides are friendly and reassuring, all the equipment needed is supplied. Just turn up in your long-johns and woolly socks and (after gearing up and a briefing) drift gently between two continents for 35 minutes or so. Brilliant.

Read an article about Iceland in Wanderlust May 2007 where they mentioned swimming between the tectonic plates and determined I would head to Iceland and do it one day. It was a good decision to go with dive.is as we were able to book before arriving in Iceland and the tour arrangements went like clockwork. We were collected from our hotel and whisked off to the site with other enthusiastic folk. The equipment provided was excellent and our guide, Arjan, made sure that the dry suits did their job and we remained bone dry and never even needed the towels! He had a very good sense of humour and added to the overall enjoyment of our snorkel. He even encouraged me to jump in at the end and I am so pleased that he did. The visibility is amazing and the water tastes wonderful! What a memory ...
