“Fantastic food and service”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

I visit Reykjavik regularly for work and this place is a "must" for every visit. Fantastic food, friendly service, and lovely warm atmosphere. The food is fresh and they will make it as spicy or mild as you request. A true gem.

“Amazing food, with friendly service”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

My boyfriend and I ate here on a whim, as we'd never had Nepali food before. It was even better than we'd hoped it would be, and the owner even took great pains to work around my cilantro/coriander allergy. The restaurant was cozy, and the owner engaged us in friendly conversation the entire meal. If you want an affordably priced meal in Reykjavik with attentive service, this is the place to go. 6 out of 5 stars!

“Great food, great smiles, with great flavor”
Reviewed October 25, 2013

The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. My wife and I were looking for a warm, flavorful meal and they delivered. We walked in and were immediately acknowledged. I did not catch the first mans name but he was very nice. The second man deepak was very nice too. We ordered momo (dumplings). They were excellent. Warm, with great flavor. The dipping sauce(chutney was just right). Then we ordered korma and dhal with rice(2 dishes). Both were very good. While we were eating the gentleman checked on us several times. They also asked about where we were from and told us about the country. We topped off the meal with the Nepali yogurt. This was also very good for digestion. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone that wants a great meal with great service.
I have to things to point out: it is a little pricey(like most iceland places) and the food does take a little time(but it is all made fresh, it's obvious)

“Mesmerizing food ... divine sensorial experience..”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

When we arrived late in Rekjavick after a long ride on unpaved roads and marvelous landscapes.. we were not expecting ugh from the dinner. Let's say that our senses were more than satisfied... then we understood that there is no end and no limit to pleasure... we have eaten the best ever indian meal, unexpected as it was, that was almost shocking. Maybe more could be done to take care of the atmosphere... it may look a little bit unpersonal.. but when you taste the food... your divine experience starts and you are no more even able to remember your name. Absolutely a must!
