Description: Tiny family owned soup restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik We are the first "soup in bread" restaurant in Iceland. We've been serving soups in bread for over 20 years and still loving it. We don't take reservations, ever - but swing by and we will do our best to fit you in with smiles on our faces! :)

“Soup was fine, but nothing special”
Reviewed April 26, 2014

Our family went there for lunch for our first meal in Reykjavik. I got the cream of broccoli soup. It was fine, but nothing I would rave about. The bread was pretty good and the service was friendly. However, it was really overpriced ($61 USD for just four soups + tap water!) which we later discovered was fairly typical for Reykjavik.

“Filling and a change from burgers. ”
Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

We found it impossible to avoid burgers if we wanted to eat cheaply im reykjavik. This was a welcome change and easy to find on the main road through the city. We enjoyed two different soups with drinks for less than 4000isk which isn't exactly extortionate by Iceland standards. The soup was tasty but nothing phenomenal, it was just super warming and good value. Would definitely recommend.

“Come to England!! ”
Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Absolutely amazing soup served in the loveliest, crunchy fresh bread.
I had the cauliflower soup which was delicious. Reasonably priced and kept me full all day!

A must if you are in Reykjavik, I only wish there was one in England!
