Description: Tiny family owned soup restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik We are the first "soup in bread" restaurant in Iceland. We've been serving soups in bread for over 20 years and still loving it. We don't take reservations, ever - but swing by and we will do our best to fit you in with smiles on our faces! :)

Had a great lunch here. A pint and soup served in a crunchy bread bowl as big as your head! Good times!!

This is a lovely little cafe/bar on the main street in Reykjavik. We only ever had drinks here but they do have a small selection of food to eat, of which the soup in a bread roll (no that's not a mis-type, the soup comes in a big bread roll) sounds and looks lovely. The place has a reall ylaidback atmosphere and the staff are all really pleasant.

Definetly pop into this place, we went everyday of our weekend break for my husbands 40th birthday! It is a lovely little bar overlooking the street so you can do a good bit of people watching. It has a great relaxed atmosphere, it's a bit of a traveller type drop in place so plenty of people in there had their computers or smart phones out, probably updating trip advisor! The soup in a bread bowl is lovely - the special that day was indian meet or leek and potato and it kept us going all day! a perfect place to stop for lunch after a morning trip to the blue lagoon!

Very nice place with attentive waiterers.
We went for two kinds of soups, which both was served inside a bread ball. The atmosphere was very nice and the soup tasted OK and was perfect on a cold and windy Sunday.

We stumbled into this place just looking for a beer but when we smelled the soup we had to try it. We had the spicy meat soup which was divine - as was the bread bowl.
We liked it so much we went back the following day for a reasonably priced meal before our northern lights trip.
