Great place for a good soup. They are a bit limited on their menu but what they do have they do well. Had the lamb soup - they offer 3 kinds - witha choice of a bread bowl or bread on the side - or no bread. Loved that they had macaroons for free. Friendly environment, popular restaurant can get a little crowded. Would definitely recommend!

I had a lambsoup in bread and it was really good. No tableservice. They have a small terrace on the sidewalk. Fast service.

We were looking for a place to eat Icelandic food at a fair price and this was the perfect spot. Hospitality over the top, great food (yes, you can refill and you won't live this place unfilled) and super nice people. I don't know if this was the most traditional place to eat, but if you want to have a taste of Icelandic cuisine without living all your money there, this is the place. Keep up the good job, guys!

Went there last night. You go to the bar to place your order. Then pre pay. Menu is posted on a board behind the bar.. you help yourself to the water. After ordering we chose a table and in about 20 minutes we had our food. I had the pan fried cod. It was good, my wife had the fish stew which was also good. All meals were served on paper plates. Decent presentation. Our meals were brought to our table, other than that..no wait staff. The bill for my wife and I which included a glass of wine came to 6800 Kr.
