Travelling with Teitur was unique .We chose to spend a week in the North East of Iceland, a remote, enchanting ,epic world revealed to us by an equally epci and enchanting guide. From the pools at the local village pools, to visiting with his Aunty, Teitur made the trip personal , amusing, and adventuresome . Highly recommended

My girlfriend and I spent our first day in Iceland touring with Teitur and Iceland Unplugged. While we traveled another 9 days throughout the country, the highlight was our day with Teitur. We were astounded by the amount of ground we covered in one day. We visited the highlands and some of the harder to reach waterfalls on the south coast. We chased sheep, fed Icelandic horses and picked berries. All in, the day was between 12-14 hours. By the end, Teitur felt like family. We were so sad to part ways and wished we had spent more time with him. A few days later, Teitur texted us to let us know the Northern Lights were visible. Although we were on the opposite side of the country, we witnessed them for the first time. It's that type of thoughtfulness and care you can expect with Teitur. Whenever we come back, we're going to go out with Teitur again. Highly recommend!

On my third trip to Iceland, we were privileged to have Aron asa our guide. A new take on the Golden Circle, highlights of Reykjavik, the Northern Lights, three days on the South Coast seeing some very hidden places (well away from the tourist buses) and even horse riding. A great guide, a terrific guy and a brilliant itinerary. What more could we ask for? Oh, and did I mention the glacier hike that finished in glacier cooled champagne!

Four of us travelled to Iceland

Teitur was our guide in Iceland. We spent only four days there. However, Teitur's ability to impart his passion, knowledge and history of Iceland made it truly an unforgettable experience. Avoiding all those large bus tours, Teitur took us to beautiful places, breath taking scenery, glaciers, waterfalls and more. Flexibility allowed us to avoid bad weather by changing itinerary. I can't believe we saw so much in 4 short days and this was thanks to Teitur. Highly recommended.

I had the opportunity to tour the south shore of Iceland with 3 friends guided by Teitur Torkelsson. It was an memorable experience thanks to Teitur's extensive knowledge of the history and the landscape. I highly recommend his services.
