This was my first visit to Iceland, and my introduction to the country was this excellent walking tour of the country's capital. Starting from the statue of Leif Erikson, it took in such sights as the striking Hallgrímskirkja church and a visit to the tower; Tjörnin lake and the city hall (Ráðhús Reykjavíkur); the amazing glass building Harpa by the shore; past the parliament building (the Alþingishúsið) and the nearby Lutheran church; and numerous examples of public art. The guide was excellent, very informative and interesting, full of facts about the city, buildings and history. Highly recommended.

I booked this tour at the office of GetLocal.is, the guy who served me was very nice and efficient. He rang to check the boat ride was available, explained what was included, gave me some tips to be prepared and the price was better than with other companies! It was a 14hours trip but it was worthy!!
