This house is really nice, I loved the layout and cosy feel to it, there’s a lot of space for parking at the front, Siggi’s father Olaf met us at the home on the first day to give us the tour of the house etc, he’s very welcoming and tries to answer all your questions. There was 6 of us staying in the house, 2 couples and 2 single friends, there were 4 rooms for us all and ample space for us all to not be under each other’s feet.
We were greeted at the house very warmly by the owners Father, the house was very warm and cosy with all the necessary comforts of home. I would highly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Iceland and if you haven't been before it is awesome. Thank you so much, all being well we will return
The house is spacious and beautiful and clean. The owner was there to greet us and show us around. Also, gave us some recommendations in regards of tourist attractions and closest/cheapest supermarket (Bonus). When we texted him with an issue of poor heat, he replied right away and stopped by in the evening after work to make sure we figured it out. Kitchen is equipped with coffee maker, stove, fridge, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. There were plenty of extra towels and linens were set up prior to our arrival. The drive to downtown Reykjavik was 15 mins. There are 2 parking spots (we only used 1, but the other one was always empty during our stay there).
Overall, extremely happy with our stay at this property.

Apartment is good for single travelers, families and couples.
It was a lovely house with everything we needed. It was close to town with quick access to major roads. The owner accommodated all our needs and was extremely kind.
Renting this beautiful home in Reykjavik was the best decision we made for our Iceland vacation. There was plenty of room for our adult family of 5 and it was convenient and close to everything. The owner provided a 5 day itinerary for us inclusive of where to eat....as well as coffee for every morning. A nice touch to a great rental property. Would highly recommend to any group travelling.
Very quiet and spacious rental that easily accommodated our family of six. Nicely located directly on a bus line to downtown. Contacting the owner and arranging to be met upon arrival was easy and efficient.
Very close to downtown Reykjavik, the #14 bus stop is right out the door. Recommend getting the city pass (we did 48 hours) which includes municipal bus travel and pays for itself with a couple museum visits. Also the public pool/spa at Laugardalslaug is within walking distance and included in the city pass (otherwise the pool is only the equivalent of about $9 USD). Siggi's dad Olafur and brother Johannes were very helpful in getting us oriented to the house and were excellent hosts. Olafur guided us to a "cheap" but nice supermarket. Iceland is expensive so it was nice to eat at home. The house has several balconies offering great views of the mountains. It has a great living room where 8 of us adults were comfortable, though the house is really for 7. We loved it!!
