We got to Reykjavik in a blizzard and we parked and walked along the sea front and this beautiful sculpture came into view. I felt drawn to it and from every angle it is enchanting and I found it hard to move away from it. So on the way back to the car I stopped again to admire this fabulous sculpture.

We walked past this interesting sculpture as we were walking towards Harpa and downtown Reykjavik from our hotel. It was a nice walk along the waterfront with fantastic views of the mountains in the background. There were other sculptures along the way but this was definitely the most striking. Worth a look if you happen to be passing by or visiting Harpa.

We were out on a walk and came across this by chance. Very pretty and a good photo opportunity though I wouldn't go out just to see this alone else you'll be a bit disappointed.

Worth it if you are passing by though.

Any travel brochure you read about Reykjavik has this photo in it. Go on a SUNNY day and snap one of your own pix of this famous sculpture.

Two things surprised me... first, its hard to get to if you're walking because you have to cross a major road. Second, nothing 'touristy' is near it... it sits off the road all by its lonesome away from shops, restaurants, sights etc.
