“Nice enough”

Easy to find and completely walkable. Like that its free. Can be a little underwhelming but it's still nice and visit doesn't take hours

“Different in various weather conditions”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

My husband and I passed this sculpture at least ten times during a recent weeklong world Esperanto conference. We saw it in sunlight, drizzle, rain, early morning, late evening, etc., and every time it was interesting and different -- so much that we kept taking photos.

“Great Sculpture”

Wonderful sculpture. Would be wonderful to see at sunset if you have the opportunity. Visit the Music/Cultural centre and take a walk along the waterfront.

“Superb from so many angles”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

Public sculptures can be difficult to appreciate and can date easily. This sculpture provided pleasure whether we walked or bussed by, at sunrise and in the evening twilight. It is a significant art work.

“Beautiful sculpture”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013

This is great for a photo-op. Free and anyone can go see it. Stands next to the water. We learned it's actually not supposed to be a viking ship, but rather a dream boat, symbolizing hope and light.
