If you are staying in Isafjördur, I could not think of a better place to stay. The room and breakfast were really nice. It was very clean and well located. The staff was very helpful and friendly:)

Parking on the street close to the front door was pretty easy. The front desk was nice and spoke decent English. The room was cute and clean and there was a few different showers and water closets for guests to use. The location is perfect: we were able to walk all over the Ísafjörður peninsula including going to Thor's House restaurant (fantastic fish dishes!), Langi Mangi for a pint, Wine and Crepes for, well, wine and crepes, and the West Tours office and dock for our hiking excursion to Hornstrandir. If the weather suites you, there's also a little yard one can lounge in. The breakfast served is very plentiful with a wide variety of tasty, easy foods from cod to nutella to toast and more.

This was the nicest guesthouse/hostel we stayed in. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I wish they had all been this nice.

The place is good value and clean. Floors can be a bit noisy but not enough to be disruptive. The best part to me was the amazing breakfast, they had so much food of all different kinds, definitely worth the money,

Very good, accessible, good breakfast, spacious room, but we shared WC with other rooms which was ok. Classified as two star hotel, but closer to three stars. Only abt 10 rooms. Old building converted to a nice guesthouse

we stayed in sleeping bag accommodation rooms - at first I worried about street noise being so close to the road but very quiet - convenient open concept living/kitchen room. Wifi was very weak, we had to sit outside to maintain a connection. Close to historic district.

Nice littel guesthouse in the heart of Isafjordur which the charm of the old days.
The room was big and had free WiFi, which is great.
Tee and Coffee were available all the time and breakfast was plenty and a great variety of things.
The staff were very nice an the room and bathrooms were very clean.

We can highly recommend this Guesthiuse to others.

Our TIPP!!! If you are in Isafordur and your looking for a nice place to eat, we can highly recommend the "Faktorhusid" Haestakaupstad. It is located only 5 minutes walk from the Guesthouse. It is an old yellow house. They offer a very small menue but the food is stunning!!!! We took the "Catch of the Day" and the "Beef Steak" and the "Lamb" and it was fantastic. Almost never eaten that good in my life!!!! Try the cakes they are great too. The chef is also the waiter and therefore you need to wait a bit but it is worth it...
The restaurant itself is very charming, like in the 1800s. Go there and try the food!!! It's brilliant!!!
