Very tasty food prepared with love by always-friendly Sylvia and a long chat afterwards! Definitely a restaurant worth visiting when you want to escape the cold formality of the outside world.

If you are sick of typical overpriced restaurant meals, this is the place for you. The food is homemade and delicious. You have to try the frappes, they are so tasty. The owner is super friendly and will entertain you with a lot of funny stories. Will travel to Iceland again in May and this place is on the list. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

We were sick of lamb and fish by our tenth night in Iceland and decided to go for something different - so glad we did! The food was excellent - we had the spicy tomato soup and the bean stew. The restaurant is run by a lady from Kenya and she was the warmest, friendliest person we met in Iceland. At the time of writing, the restaurant is situated on the second floor of a corner block, but the owner mentioned that she has plans to move it to a ground floor location. Hope you find this little gem in Keflavik!

Great Swahili dishes. I enjoyed eating chapati and the best chicken mshikaki (kebab) I would recommend every one to go test the Swahili soulfood.

What an amazing restaurant!!!

Sylvia is very passionate about her food and is very willing to help you find something to make your mouth water.

We dined as a group of 4, with only West African culinary experience, so everything was totally new for us. Sylvia recommended a few great dishes and we were not disappointed.

The Ugali with Sukuma wiki was a taste sensation, along with the chapatti and stew. As for the chicken.....you will just have to try it for yourself and see.
