Park Inn by Radisson Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

I ended up here after a 8hr delay out of Frankfurt.

The hotel is fine. I would not stay here if I had a choice. Small euro style twin bed in the room I had. The bathroom was weird it felt like a pre-fab bath out of a ship. Strong internet connection.

There is a bar downstairs I did not check out much of the hotel or town. Just too exhausted. One thing to note you are no where near Reykjavik. I was told there are busses but its about a 45 min drive. There was a 24 Hr mini mart around the corner that sells food and water etc...

If you have the opportunity to stay somewhere else go for it. More than likely you are just happy to not be in a airport by the time you get here. It was my impression that the folks that own the hotel know that.

Spent one day here waiting for passengers. Not a bad little hotel. Solid internet access. Basic room, but met my expectations. Friendly staff. I would definitely come here again despite the somewhat high price tag.

Quite expensive hotel. Rooms are clean. Room service is not good at all and quite expensive. Service is deficient. No internet in the room. The room service tray spend the all nigh in the corridor and was still there when we left. But, if you have a early plane to catch... it's 10 mn from the airport...

Just a 10 -15 minute drive from Keflavik airport, rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed for a one night stay. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Would recommend and looked a much better alternative to the onsite airport hotel. No free wifi in the rooms, which seemed unusual by Icelandic standards and for such a midsize hotel.

Comfy rooms - even got an upgrade for the suite for our second night. It took me a while, though, to figure out the hot water tap. Great Scandinavian breakfast. Good location in Keflavik. 2 minute walk to the Irish pub. I also walked to the Viking (ship) museum and to Iceland's oldest lighthouse.
Friendly staff, WiFi.

This was my first stay at the Icelandair hotel in Keflavik. In comparison to some other hotels in Keflavik (near the international airport), this one seems overpriced. There are better hotels to be had in Keflavik for a more reasonable price. My teenage kids and I stayed in two rooms with connecting doors. The beds were comfortable and we slept quite well. There was no noise whatsoever and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was good. What struck us, though, was the lack of smiles. The staff were polite, but they never went out of their way and they never smiled! If you get a good deal at this hotel, book it. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to explore other options.

I was there for a quick overnight stop and for this purpose it was fine. Location was centric in a town where there was really nothing going on other than a pretty lame "Irish" pub down the street and lots of cold wind. I hear that with time, some adventure tours originating from the hotel are pricey but worthwhile. Hotel staff were friendly, internet decent, food expensive and rooms pretty standard. But keeping perspective, it is a rock in the middle of the North Atlantic so one could not expect much more. Overall, the comforts of a "La Quinta" or "Days Inn" up in the middle of nowhere - good stop for some rest and press on...
