We booked the blue ice cave adventure without knowing much what to expect. Our guide Stefan was great, super knowledgeable about glaciers, the Icelandic local culture and history. It was a real pleasure to spend a full day with him. Not to mention the feeling of both walking on top of a glacier and laying in the dark under a glacier! Totally recommendable!

There was crazy wind the one day we could go on their crystal tour, and while all other companies canceled their tours, Glacier Adventures passed out free wind pants and bought us all face covers and carried on with the trip. This gave us a unique experience where we had the cave to ourselves. They let us stay for a very long time and showed us lots of cool spots. Would book again!

Right from the start, our tour guides (Mike and a new guide Andrea (think I've spelled her name wrong)) were fun & friendly, very knowledgeable about the topography, geography and history of the glacier and full of fun facts. They took us (a group of just 3) on an amazing tour up part of the glacier, through some moulins and back down to the ice caves. We felt very safe at all points, we were taught how to use the equipment and taught about the glacier as we went along. Very interesting and highly recommended to anyone and everyone.

We did the (more) expensive blue ice cave tour - when I booked the tour it wasn’t clear that we will see the same cave. But our tour guide managed it well and took care that we don’t run into the other large group tours and in the end we had the cave for ourselves which was great. The cave is beautiful even if you have been on glacier tours before. Would definitely recommend to do it in a small group (we were only two). Tour on the glacier and through the tunnel was also nice
