My husband and I stayed last week, a little nervous to be sharing a bathroom and kitchen as we are more elderly and enjoy a little privacy. We absolutely loved this clean, modern guest house and sharing the bathroom was absolutely fine.
We met the lovely hostess during the evening as we collected our clearly named keys from a hook in the hall earlier. She as helpful and friendly, making sure everyone was settled.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, bathrooms convenient and clean. The kitchen much bigger than we had imagined and we easily cooked pasta and a sauce. Other guests were cooking hotdogs. Two, two ring hobs and a microwave. Plenty of clean pans and crockery etc. A toaster. Two fridges available for your own food to stay fresh over night. A large table with cushioned seating. Some guests happy to chat, others kept to themselves.
Lovely coffee maker with coffee provided, also milk, juice and Skyr. Even a plate of gorgeous little cakes appeared during the evening! Definitely recommend this for a comfortable stay near the iceberg lake.

Lovely guesthouse with shared facilities. The shower facilities were very clean and there are plenty of floor towels to use when you are in there. The kitchen facilities are also very good and although it was fully booked, we did not find the kitchen too busy in the morning. Skyrr and hot drinks are an added bonus!

The triple bed room was spacious and quite clean. There are two bathrooms each floor so you don’t have to wait much time for using the bathroom.

They offered free yogurt,juice, coffee/tea and some snacks at the kitchen. You could also cook there.

Host was super friendly and we had a very comfortable stay there.
