The staff were very friendly and helpful as at Ranga. We stayed in a villa which was heaven, a bit of privacy, your own hot tub under the stars; dead chilly getting in and out but well worth it! The food was delicious every day and there were many places we could get to for adventures. We drove into Reyk for Mass on Sunday and miraculously found the Cathedral in time. We visited Glymur Falls which were out of season but fairy footprints in the snow led us to magical cave and onwards to the Falls. Bridge across river taken away in Winter so it is up to you how far you go.
Visited the Geysir and lots of Falls, found healthy respect for changeable weather and serious wintry conditions, we just had to take more care walking and driving. Fabulous country with vast expanses of wilderness, white and blue, wild ponies, waterfalls, glaciers; so much to see.
