Went to have dinner in Il Banco on Thursday night. The restaurant looked surprisingly busy.
I had the menu and chose: Tortellini with boletus and spinach, Veal fillet in Parma ham with potatoes and vegetables and Blood orange sherbet with prosecco. Menu was 38 €. My husband had Lemon risotto and grilled jumbo prawns, Grilled filet steak with thyme-lemon sauce and Tiramisu.
We were stuffed when we left Il Banco. But the food was just ok. We thought it was a little bit too expencive when thinking the quality.
Boletus had little grit in it. I think the sherbet was not made out of real blood oranges, but it was made of lemonade. I think the biggest disapointment was the steak. It was bad, chewy and the meat was a bit suspicious. Risotto was good, Tiramisu was rich and homemade.
First I got wrong dessert, maybe it could have been better! And my wine glass was dirty.
Probably won't go again.
