“Ow! My nose!”

I've read about this restaurant, but today was the first time I've been there. This place combines two favourites of mine; Asian buffet and Sushi. The price is pretty average, which is good for lunch with colleagues. I started with sushi, just because I prefer to eat warm food as the "main course". I like to eat my sushi with chopsticks, and today was no exception. Of course, sushi needs wasabi. I took some with a spoon and shared between the pieces with the chopsticks. Using chopsticks isn't the best way to do it...

Four pieces went down well, but when I put the fifth piece in my mouth, I realised that it had quite a lot of wasabi on it. A second later, my nose started hurting and tears started falling down my cheeks. My colleagues gave me weird looks and asked me what was wrong. I told them about the wasabi and they laughed a little.

After I recovered, I put the last piece of sushi in my mouth and chewed. And I realised there was even more wasabi on this one. A sting of the wasabi worked its way up my nose, and my tears started running even harder than the last time. My colleagues laughed harder this time while I wiped the tears from my cheeks and eyes.

So I moved over to the warm food. Which was good, and there were many different options to choose from. And even better, there was coffee upp and ice cream for dessert. But the lasting impression from this lunch was the sushi, both in a good and a bad way. But the bad way wasn't the restaurant's fault, it was all my fault.

I can highly recommend this place, but be careful with the wasabi...

Came here for a quick meal at the end of a day.

Not a bad place, but quite expensive. However, I’m used to very well-priced sushi in the UK. It’s not a traditional sushi place as they also serve Chinese-style dishes as well.

The sushi tempura rolls I had were pretty good. Their menus have English, Swedish and Finnish, so easy to order if you’re tourist.

I expected much more from Juku. The weekend sushibuffet costs 18 €, which is higher than similar buffets in the area. The selection is nothing special, there are not too many sushi varieties and most of the warm dishes looked and tasted the same (shrimp/beef/pork/chicken swimming in an oily sauce). The sushi was OK tasting. The ice cream topping selection was probably the highlight of the buffet. The service was good and they accommodated my mom's allergies with milk-free ice cream.

A great variety of different sushis during lunch, and also warm Asian dishes. Ice cream and coffe for dessert are included in the lunch price.
