Tuure B&B is situated noth of the central place in turku, most of the things happen south of that place, it takes approx. 5 minutes either way between central place an Tuure.

It is in a appartment block like building on the second floor, some doorbell ringing can be necessary to get to the place. There are only stairs, no elevator.

The room was rather small for two, and juging from the other rooms open when beeing cleaned, this holds for the other rooms, too. As generally in Finland, the windows are not really forseen for opening. In summer room temperarure can easily rise to 25 °C or above towards the night, which might keep some from sleeping. At least there is a ventilator provided, but the effect is minor. I suggest to ask for a room on the east side of the building, because it won't heat up (that much) during the day.

The combined showers/toilets have a similar unsufficient ventilation, which can cause some olfactive inconvenience if you want to shower after someone has just used the toilet. Also the humidity tends to rest in these cabins. All this contributes to an uncleen feeling, although the premises are propperly and appropriately cleened.

The owner might make a little bit a weird impression, but makes this and many things of his B&B up by his friendliness and by being very forthcoming.

So, one does get a B&B accomodation. Still, I left under the impression that there could be more value for the money it costs.

Tuure's a stone's throw from the town center, but just out of the way enough to not be burdened by passing pedestrian or car traffic. Breakfast is very Finnish (so more hearthy food and less sweet things like jam or chocolate) and very satisfying, and there's a small kitchen in case you want to cook something yourself. The bathrooms are shared, but plenty. Beds are delightfully comfortable. The free wireless internet works flawlessly and fast. The staff is very friendly and offers loads of advice on where to go and what to see, and they'll always help you to the best of their abilities when you encounter a problem during your stay. There's no curfew, so you're free to explore Turku night life all you want. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Bed and Breakfast Tuure is a value place to stay.

Everything is very clean, WiFi works great, staff is friendly, beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is great.

Bathrooms are shared, but that is disclosed before you reserve your room.

Most things in town are within walking distance.

The train station is only 3 blocks away if you are coming here from Helsinki by rail.

For a value place to stay in Turku, enjoy your stay at Bed and Breakfast Tuure.

Room Tip: This is not a 5 star hotel, but it it is great low priced place to stay.
