This castle has been renovated and restored. It has a lot of rooms and you are led through all of them even though many don't actually contain anything or not much. There are interesting bits and it is certainly worth a visit, but it takes a long time to do the full tour. My son was complaining loudly long before we got to the end. As we had started in the middle of the morning and it had taken longer than expected to go round we were looking forward to some lunch, but were very disappointed to find that the restaurant had stopped serving food by two o'clock and only had a few sandwiches left. They did have some beer from a local craft brewery (which was good). My recommendation would be don't dawdle. You can also access the restaurant without paying to go round the castle which I may do next time I'm there just so I can try some more of their beer.
