This is a timeless Tampere classic. Located slightly outside of the city centre in the quiet neighborhood you don't probably stumble here by accident. Smallish and popular so reservation is almost always needed, even for lunch. Like said, this a classic, one could even say institution in Tampere restaurant scene. Unfortunately it's not entirely a positive thing. The menu is from the 70s and could be upgraded. The main thing here is steaks in different forms and they are rather good if you like steaks. But nowadays there should be other options too. My opinion they are holding too much to traditions and world around is changing. This might was fine dining of 70s Finland in small country town but it's not today that. Now it's a steak house with decent steaks and worth going for that but also a place waiting some renewal.
