We are locals and like to patronise local businesses wherever possible but we found our experience at Angels was so bad that we won't be returning. We were a party of 4 for breakfast and ended up waiting an hour for it. We only ordered a croissant, scrambled eggs on toast and two fry-ups. Honestly, we all said it would have been quicker to buy the ingredients from Johnson's and cook it ourselves. The 'waitress' was clueless and offered excuses and no apology when we queried the long delay and told her we weren't able to wait any longer. We had finished our drinks 40 minutes before the food finally arrived. The food was ok. The croissant was soggy but the fry ups were fine. If you can't cope with the number of covers please don't allocate that much seating outside your establishment. And if you know there is going to be a delay due to a rush of orders then please make that clear to your guests. We would have chosen not to stay and wait for the food but we would have appreciated the information and come back at a different time. As it is we won't be coming back and we will be advising others to stay away as well. Amateurs!
