I ate here twice in one week, once as a guest at a special banquet and then with colleagues. The reindeer meat was perfectly complemented by the lingonberry sauce and I highly recommend it (see picture of my plate) - this would be a reason to experience this restaurant. Our Finnish friends all had the beef as the more unusual special offering for them. The second evening we tried samplers of exotic meats and sausages. Bear sausage is as bad as it sounds (gristly and ghastly) but everything else was great. The elk was a nice meal. The house wine is well... passable. You can wear a helmet with viking horns while you eat and, as the name suggests, the theme of the restaurant is all viking - it's was a fun and relaxing place, especially after a great Finnish vastasauna and cold water dip in the town natatorium. (The Finns are the first to tell you that their ancestors probably fought the vikings and are less likely descended from them).
