This unasuming grill & distillery uses seasonal finnish ingredients such as reindeer, roe, and European (or river) crayfish, chantarelles and and fantastic winter root vegetables such as the beetroot when in season. The food has a mediterranean vibe and the menu features interesting options of risotto and pasta with a finnish twist: they also like to use their own beer, cider and whisky in their cooking. The service is exellent and attentive and their seasonal menus, comprising of a starter, a main and a dessert, are always delish and v. good value for such high standard of food (and Finland). I would recommend going for lunch : it starts from around 9 euros and always has at least one vegetarian option.
