Owner description: Sibelius Hall is located by the beautiful Lake Vesijarvi. Sibelius Hall is a congress- and concert center that offers diverse services for both consumers and companies. Sibelius Hall was built in 2000 adjacent to an old factory building. The modern wooden architecture is combined with the old industrial history in the most interesting way.

“Must see if you visit in Lahti”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

One and probably the most beautiful building in Lahti. You have to see it, no matter what the season is. On summer time you can also enjoy a cup of coffee on Piano Pavillion's terrace or a beer in a harbour very next.
Notice that in the main concert hall you can hear only classical music. All rock shows are on Finlandia club, which is a different hall inside the building.

“Amazing place for concerts”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

Sibelius Hall is very special building due to that it's mainly made of wood. Main concerthall is quite big and diffenrent kind of concerts are arranged there. You can listen as well popular music like rock or metal or classical music.

“Wonderful concert hall”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

A most beautiful old building which has been renovated for a wonderful and internationally
recognized concert hall as well as a conference venue. Worth visiting even if you don´t
go to a concert or a conference.

Marvellous place to great concerts! Classical music really rules here. Also it offers wonderful experience those people who appreciate modern buildings connecting to old ones...
And food here is worth to test, chef is brilliant, even table clothes could be better est on the tables.

“Acoustic paradise”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

This concert hall overlooking the lake combines the old external brick facade of a former factory with an ultramodern interior. This is something the Finns are very good at doing. The concert hall itself is an acoustic marvel where no expense has been spared in ensuring the listener's expectations are fully met. The new organ , designed in French romantic style, is thrilling to hear. The organist gives demonstrations during the summer skilfully displaying the organ's versatility and capabilities. I was able to try the instrument after one such demonstration and found it a delight to play. The Sibelius Hall is open to the public at certain times and guided tours are held - in Finnish. But there are multilingual brochures available. Definately a "must" for the visitor whether you are attending a concert or just want to pop in for a viewing. There are good eating places nearby, and in the Hall itself
