“Good Beer”
Reviewed June 11, 2013

Went here for a few beers before dinner and it was good. Multi-level restaurant with the sit-down style service on the upper floor. Good variety of beers on tap (esp Czech ones) and comfy seats. Nice place to talk and relax.

“Giant sausage plates”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

This is a czech restaurant on the left side of the railway station having everything between a beer cellar and a restaurant upstairs. We ate a salad with grilled salmon; the fish was nice but salad had no taste and it was without dressing. We didn't get any plates for the bread basket and the espresso macchiato was just a normal espresso. There were some other guests and they seemed to eat giant plates covered with french fries and sausages. If that is what you want the place could be okay, otherwise try another place.

“Too expensive and poor quality of food - a huge disappointment”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

Visited this place with my family and everyone of us was disappointed. The problem is - that this place - is roughly overpriced considering the quality of the food you get. The interior is OK, menu is OK, but some weird twists are there, like why goulash soup is served in a "Czech" restaurant, puts you wondering how "Czech" it really is, the service was fine, but the food... come on, you should expect much more when you pay 25-30 euros for your second course. Despite the central location in Helsinki. All in all, the famous price-quality ratio is in Vltava very bad. There are much better options just nearby. Not recommended!

“Czech restaurant”
Reviewed January 15, 2013

Nice location, a decent selection of food both downstairs and upstairs. Great selection of beers but everything seemed to be a bit overpricey. Pint of beer for 7-8 euros is definitely too much and food could have been cheaper as well. It was good though. I had mixed selection of Czech sausages etc. and it tasted good.
