This old fashion restaurant near our home (about 100 m) has saved rather well the old art deco artistic athmosphere of the prewar times when it was frequented visited by famous authors, painters and movie stars. I usually went there regulary for having two beers at the bar or in the outdoor nice terrace in summer times. We have of course eaten there a lot of times because it's so near, but on the whole the food is not much to talk about. Herrings with mushed potatoes or vorschmack are perhaps the best choices.
The service varies, sometimes correct and rather fast, sometimes irritating slow going. If you are in the neigbourhood, order something small and have a look of a kind of Finnish reality with it's good and dull sides.
