When you can get a table at very short notice on a Saturday night, you are grateful but a little wary. When only 2 other tables are occupied you become even a little more suspicious. Menus when produced, indicate a very limited choice, Reindeer or Elk, Salmon or Fish of the Day ("similar to Salmon") and one Vegetarian dish - that's about it for Mains. Mushroom soup arrived lukewarm at best, with a morsel of bread - no other bread for the table. Fillet of Reindeer (Euro 39) arrived blood red, although requested medium, with a tiny serve of vegetables. Thin sliced well done (requested medium) Sauteed Reindeer and mash potato was slightly more exciting than McDonald's. Vegetarian dish acceptable but ordinary. Penfolds Rawsons Retreat, a $7-8 bottle of wine in Australia was on the wine list for Euro 40!! I requested a second glass of French Chardonnay - not the same wine second time around. Was told I was probably given the Chilean one first by mistake. Atmosphere was poor, as it was almost empty
Can several of the other reviewers have been eating at the same Restaurant??
I very reluctantly left a tip - not the waitresses fault the food was so poor (and overpriced). Such was my opinion of the food, I feel I have to warn off other potential diners. If you are silly enough to take a gamble and eat here, bring a cushion for the hard wooden seats.
