“The best meal in my trip to Helsinki”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The restaurant is expensive, but the quality of the food is high. I do not like fish, so I had very limited choices. Nevertheless, I really liked what I have ordered. I had lamb sausage as starter, the meat of the day as main course and chocolate cake with fruit sauce as dessert. Everything was cook to perfection. If you are like me and have a limited budget, It would be a good idea to spend one of the few dining out experience in this restaurant.

“I'm glad I was back, once again great overall experience”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

We decided to top off our kids-free Friday to have dinner at Atelje Finne after visiting the first-ever Champagne Fair at Korjaamo in Töölö. This establishment has been able to maintain its high level. As starters we had the aubergine soup (you don't get this too often) and the fennel salad, both very tasty. We couldn't resist the temptation and went for the meat of the day, horse sirloin. The serving was perfect, super tender meat with an incredible "crispy" crust...they really know how to prepare meat! The main course (as well as our "desert" cheeses) mingled perfectly with a Bordeaux from Paulliac (Les Tourelles de Loungeville 2007).

This place is GREAT value for money (menu 42/person)

Super food, service and atmosphere!

“Continues to be great”
Reviewed April 18, 2013

Over the past 3 years eaten here several times since the first review. It continues to be one of the best mid-priced restaurants in Helsinki. The food is imaginative, using good ingredients and very well cooked. The seasonal menu is small, but they always have a good range of daily specials. The staff are very welcoming, and the atmosphere lively. Booking seems to be essential.

“Season's specialities, normal price level, good service but noisy”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

I make food tours in Helsinki and therefore I am trying to get as many experiences as possible to get good understanding what is going on in city.

Food was excellent and service also, I specially liked season´s specialities what they are serving on top of the menu.

Only negative thing was noise.
We were having a table downstairs, and at the same time small room were having 3 tables with two persons and one noisy group with 10 people. It was quite difficult to have nice relaxing dinner at the same time with them. As suggestion for the management - could you keep downstairs only for bigger groups in case there is any - it is really difficult to talk with your table group as there is quite a lot of echo.
