“Nice lunch”
Reviewed April 14, 2014

Stopped in here for lunch where the menu was limited, but the prices very reasonable. The service was good, bar staff were nice, and the burger itself was very tasty.

Would return if in the city again.

“Great selection of beers and good burgers”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

If you are looking for a casual night out, fancy a few beers and a quality burger, then this is your place. The staff we attentive (although the service was not hugely fast), but the atmosphere and beer was good so the wait was fine.

The onion rings were amongst the best I have had.

“Double the price of Burger King but worth it.”
Reviewed March 1, 2014

This bar was listed in the tourist brochure from the airport but don't let this put you off. It's selling point is that it does homemade burgers complete with home made rolls (all locally sourced ingredients) and serves beers that your won't have heard of.
I went on a Friday (about 8ish). Comfortingly, as I entered it was full of locals and there weren't many tables left. They also had a guitarist playing various songs in various languages. The menu had about 8 different burgers and some other options for those who don't want their signature dishes. The food is cooked to order and took a little while to come because the place was full (I am guessing). When it did arrive it was tasty and well cooked. Burger and chips will set you back about 20-25 euros which is more than I would normally consider paying for a burger but you will have to try it for yourself to see if it's worth the premium. If you don't want the food the beers were good and not the most expensive I have seen in a lively but relaxed venue.

“THE BEST Burger in Helsinki...possibly the entirety of Finland!!”
Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

Ok- let me start with the obvious, yes, the burgers are organic, home made beef patties, yes the buns are home made and very fresh and yes- the Beer selection is very good- but you probably already knew that if you are researching this gem of a burger joint. What you may not know is that if you visit during their "lunch menu" hours- you will get WAY more then you bargained for. Not only does your selected choice of excellent craft made burger come with a side of fries and Home Made ketchup- but you are also given access to the soup and salad bar for your starters- to which you can eat as much of as you like. Both the salads and soup of the day are very excellent as well and it would be greatly worth your time to pop in for lunch if you can! As for food as a whole- everything I have had on the menu, other than their outstanding burgers, has been excellent!! One of my favorites is their fish'n chips!
The food is not as expensive as it could be I suppose- and for the money, I think you are getting very high quality! Expect to pay roughly 13-15 Euro for your burger meal (during lunch hours) and roughly the same during the evening dinner menu- minus the Fries- which are an additional 3 or so Euro. Most draft beers will run anywhere from 6-8 Euro, depending on the size and type of beer- that is pretty standard for Helsinki prices though. As close of a direct comparison as I can make- it would have to be the Hard Rock Cafe in Helsinki (which is actually not too far from stones). If you are a fan of Hard Rock and their food and Prices...then you will LOVE STONES!!! As I said- excellent beer selection- far more than that of Hard Rock's and Excellent quality of food for the price (on average a burger meal at Hard Rock will run around 16-20 Euros). If you can- make Stone's your next stop for a high quality, fantastic tasting burger!!! I won't go anywhere else!! Best burger in all of Finland!!!!

“Good burgers and proper selection of beer”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

I've dined here twice. First alone on late afternoon on a weekday. Then the restaurant was pretty much full. Second time was in a small company on early Sunday afternoon. Then the place was emptier yet occupied.

Prices for burgers are a bit on the higher end (take in consideration they are not meals, fries or other sidedishes come seperately, add €5), but they are also of good quality and freshness. I had the greek, lamb burger which was simply wery tasteful. Second time I took the basic burger, good too, but I would next time add the extra few euros for another lamb burger.

More better so, this restaurant has good selection of Finnish and some imported beers to go with the food. Especially nice to have almost all kinds of Keisari beers (from Nokian Panimot) and in their stronger than market versions. Året Runt, for example, recommended if you like smooth, dark beer.

So, for beer and burger lovers, a place at least to try once.
