Went there for Saturday Brunch which costed 22EUR. Simple food made of natural ingredients. I particularly relished the sweet mint pesto (http://marcaulen.com/my-sweet-mint-pesto/), which worked perfectly well with rhubarb compote, sour cherries compote, pineapples, kiwi. Marc Aulen (http://marcaulen.com/en/) the chef was friendly, and his first book Sopat! is now available.

Three different kinds of soups, seeds etc to add, and warm bread. Very busy place but friendly service. Good tea selection - included in the lunch.

we went for a Saturday brunch. I booked the table, but at the arrival, no table was reserved..is their way to work, they said?!? but why ask for a reservation at the door info and make the reservation??? the brunch: poor, really really poor. I´m so sad to write a negative review, but this time it was really a bad experience. Overpriced, 20€ per person for a "warm" meal...and the only warm meal are potatoes with rosemary baked in the oven with a few alternative toppings ...phhhuuufffff!!!! if you are not into potatoes, there is hardly anything to eat... poor selection of fruit, poor selection of drinks and as a vegetarian not so into oven potatoes, there is really nothing. We understand that they probably don't want to do the traditional thing, but this really lacks richness and you are negatively surprised that there is nothing more - no cheeses, one type of bread, no croissants etc., juice that seems so diluted that you don't know which fruit it is supposed to be. Taste of food was nothing special and you got only the feeling of being ripped off - at Sunn or Engel you can have something a lot more for even less money. The only positive thing was the service, very polite staff. Sorry, we´re not coming again.

We went there for lunch after a tip from Finnish friends. Qulma has two buffet on offer: one soup buffet and one potato buffet. Both are all you can eat formula. We went for the soup buffet which came in at 9,90 euro a person (water and coffee/tea included), being a very fair price for Helsinki. There was Squash 'n Lime, Salmon Solyanka (Russian style) and Lamb-Beef soup (more asian style). They were all delicious! There are several things to add to the soup (pumpkin seeds, jalapeno peppers, cream...).

Marc, the owner, is really nice too. Atmosphere is simple but nice, with newspaper articles of the place filling up the walls.

Good stuff. Recommended!
