A perfect little gem. You only need to "pop in" but it's worth it! Run your fingers down the clinker-built wooden outside wall.

The chapel is juxtaposed in a busy square, which is possibly the point. Inside, it is just a row of pews within a wooden interior. Again, the simplicity is probably the point, but I thought it was just dull.

The architecture itself is interesting. And the opportunity to have a few moments of silence in the heart of the city is nice. We encountered no crowd in the middle of the day...a restful break.

Very atmospheric place. If you think that you cannot be surprised by religious buildings - Welcome to Kamppi Chapel. You will be pleasantly surprised how someone can build such a grand building from simple spruce boards.
